Castel Ritaldi

Historical knowledge:
From unprecise epoch but from probable Italian origins, it’s a picturesque village which arises on a roman hamlet around a castle from the 200’s. It has been part of the Dukedom from Spoleto in the VIth century and in the Middle-Ages, its history is tied to the dominating city.
Castel Ritaldi Is a big agricultural centre placed in an excellent panoramic position in a small valley of the Rovicciano ditch.

- The San Nicola’s church
- The San Gregorio parish church from the XIIIth century
- The Francocci and Marzolini castles from the XIVth century
- The Santa Maria della Bruna sanctuary
