Collazzone

Historical knowledge:
Its origins go back to the Attone or Azzone family, arises on a hill for the control and the access of the Tiber valley. The Tuderti army destroyed the castle of Collazzone in 1220 and 1221. Rebuild, it was again destroyed in 1331 to be then definitively rebuild in 1382. From 1808 to 1814 It was inserted in the French administration in the department of Trasimeno, becoming seat of a vice governorship. The historical centre among the house, still a good part is enclosed by turreted walls, is characterized by numerous buildings and medieval rest.
